Considered Care was born out of conversations between Northeastern Professors Ilya Vidrin (Critical Creative Practice) and Ari Waldman (Law), in which they discussed how care is (or is not) embodied, expressed, and integrated in the law. The short film explores the necessity of embodied tension and resistance for manifesting care and support. Through the labor and effort of pulling, the two dancers create a precarious elasticity that demands dependence yet allows for a deeper freedom of movement.
