of Sound/Stage, a free online concert series featuring exclusive performances by the LA Phil’s Music and
Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel and guest artists from around the world.
Balanchine considered Apollo his artistic coming of age. It awarded Balanchine international recognition and began his lifelong partnership with composer Igor Stravinsky. For many dancers, the title role is highly regarded as their dream role.
